Passionate Dentist Laguna Hills
Get to Know Dr. Albert Park
What Dr. Park appreciates the most about dentistry is how it allows him to use the talents he’s been given to serve others. He never fully understood the power of oral health until he witnessed the lack of it within his own family. To see loved ones avoid eating certain foods at gatherings or not wanting to smile, talk, or even take photos was heartbreaking. Committing to your oral health goals, from keeping your teeth and gums healthy and pain-free to achieving the smile of your dreams, is one of the most important decisions you can make, and Dr. Park wants to be there to help every step of the way. At Löberg Dental Center, he is proud to work with a world-class team to serve our patients by providing a wide range of options and delivering the best experience possible.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
When Dr. Park first began his journey to becoming a dentist, he would never have imagined that he’d chosen the perfect career. At the time, he couldn’t point to a single event or moment that had inspired him to pursue this type of work. He was just someone who spent his time learning the piano and building LEGOs as a kid and was also interested in staying active and playing sports with friends. It was only until he spent a few years in Cleveland receiving his dental education that he discovered his passion for the art of dentistry. From utilizing the hand skills he had been honing since childhood, to pursuing perfection through careful technique and lifelong training, he considers himself lucky to be in the profession that is just right for him.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Park began his college career at the University of California, San Diego, and he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. Since then, he has become an Implant Pathway Fellow and is certified in Invisalign.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Park is grateful to have the opportunity to live and practice close to his biggest supporter, his mother. He also has an older brother and best friend who is an active member of the US Navy currently stationed in Japan. He is so proud of the service he’s given to our country. When he isn’t working, Dr. Park enjoys staying active by playing basketball and snowboarding. In addition, he finds that sitting down to the piano and playing Bach or different movie scores allows him to relax. The many years of lessons and practice culminated in him achieving his Certificate of Merit.
